The PC30MR-5 is equipped with a clean engine
that complies with the EPA Tier 4 Final emission regulations. The
engine uses proven environment friendly technologies such as
an exhaust gas aftertreatment system, an electronically-controlled
cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system, and
an optimum fuel injection system using a common rail. These
technologies, combined with Komatsu’s own electronic control
system, minimize environmental impact and improve fuel economy.
